Background

Warminster Osteopathic Clinic is a busy and well-established multi-disciplinary healthcare practice located in the centre of Warminster. As you will see from looking through this website, we have five osteopaths and two complementary practitioners. We are looking for a new member for our reception team to start as soon as possible. Job Outline

  • Welcoming patients, making appointments, taking payments

  • Selling, monitoring and ordering stock

  • Making social media posts

  • Filing patient notes

  • Communicating with osteopaths and reception team members

  • Working as part of a team, although you will work without supervision, once you are trained

  • We will encourage you to use your own initiative within our guidelines

  • Acuity Scheduling

  • Quick Books Online

We will provide training on Acuity and QBO.

Hours

The reception team is made up of 4 people who job share. Each team member has allocated hours, but there is scope to swap shifts and change patterns to suit personal needs, so this role would suit someone with flexibility on hours.

Initially, we have 5 hours on a Tuesday morning and there is the possibility to increase this. All receptionists provide holiday and sickness cover for other receptionists.

The Clinic is open Monday to Friday. We are closed on Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year.

  • Morning shift is from 8.15am to 1.15pm

  • Afternoon shift is from 1.30pm - 6.15pm/6.30pm

  • Evening shift on Tuesday is 6.15pm - 8.30pm

Pay is by the hour - we will provide the rate on application - paid monthly into your bank account. We follow Government guidelines for paid holiday, parental leave, sickness, pension rights and conflict resolution.

The position will start with a three-month trial period, during which time either side may terminate the contract with one week’s notice. After the trial period, the contract will be permanent and subject to one month’s notice in writing of intent to leave.
